Malaika Arora refused to walk ramp in bikini

Gorgeous Malaika Arora has turned down the offer to walk the ramp in a bikini for a pageant.

Recently dubbed as the 'sexiest mom' in Bollywood by Maxim Magazine, Malaika reportedly asked for a big amount of money from the organizers of the Ms Bikini India 2007 contest, which is to be held in Goa in December.

The organizers wanted Malaika to scorch the ramp in a bikini for a part of the pageant.

Malaika says that the big money she asked was just a way to refuse the offer. She said she has never worn a bikini either in a film or on the catwalk, and will never do so. However, Malaika did pose in bikini for an edition of Maxim recently.

The organizers of the pageant seem determined to have Malaika for the show. So they are now talking with the actress to either host a segment of the show or be the pageant's brand ambassador.

It remains to be seen if Malaika will give her nod.

Nikita Anand Opens up

The response to her latest film Dil Dosti etc may not have been very encouraging, but former Miss India Nikita Anand isn’t upset. In fact, it’s doing quite well in Delhi, which is understandable because it’s about students in Delhi University. Anyway, you can’t please everybody some like it, some don’t. I’m happy with the mixed response, she says.

And when it comes to her interaction with the cast, including Shreyas Talpade and Imaad Shah, it’s a typical ‘We had a great time and everyone was very helpful,’ response.

But the highlight of Dil Dosti... is an intimate scene with co-star Shreyas Talpade. Did she have any reservations about doing something like that so early in her career? I was very worried, but the director explained to me why we should do it. And I was also uncomfortable because we had so many people watching us. But it’s okay because the scene needs to be in the film, she defends.

Nikita is also aware that she might receive similar offers in future. I would’ve got such offers anyway; now with me having done such a role, the possibility of receiving ‘bold roles’ will increase. But I’d rather not do it again, says the starlet.

Didn’t she also brand Shreyas a good kisser in a recent interview? I didn’t say that and I don’t know where that statement came from. There is a kissing scene in the film but it’s only for two seconds, she explains.

Shereveer continues to trouble Nisha

n the years gone by, there may have been gigabytes spent on so-called alliances of Nisha Kothari. But if one looks closely at the films done by her, it is not only the Ram Gopal Varma association which is a common factor. In addition, there is also the leading villain in her films who is a common fixture!

Yes, we are talking about Shereveer Vakil who seems to be troubling Nisha (well, strictly on screen) in each of her cinematic outings ever since she made her leading lady debut with James. Shereveer played a menacing goon in the film and was responsible for her death in James.

This was followed by SHIVA where she was not just paired with her James hero Mohit Ahlawat again but also had to face an obstacle in the form of Shereveer. This time around she wasn't bumped off though as her on screen beau came to her rescue.

Even in this Friday's release GO, Shereveer plays a menacing goon by the name of T S Ranganathan a.k.a. Ranga. A goon who just knew how to kill, he could eliminate anyone for a price.

Well, we are quite sure that Nisha's on screen hero Gautam would be able to avoid this elimination and probably finish off Shereveer once for and all so that he cannot return to create menace in Nisha's life!

Abhishek and Vivek to Work Together

Abhishek and Vivek had worked together in Shootout At Lookhandwala, but they did not do any role together. Now the two will be sharing the screen together in Apoorva Lakhia next Mission Istanbul. The movie is been directed by Suniel Shetty. When asked Suniel about these two he said that they will be working together and neither Abhishek nor Vivek has any problems with each other. Talking about the movie Suniel said that Mission Istanbul is being made on an international scale. “The theme requires an international vision. My director is browsing for F-X team from the outside. It will be top-of-the-line technicians from abroad. The movie’s shooting will be in Turkey and they have been provided with the infrastructure they require for their project.

Sounds like an interesting project isn’t it? Well after Ash getting married to Abhishek I don’t think Vivek or anyone else will have any problem with them, and it’s really nice to see Vivek and Abhishek working together. Suniel will have a real tough time to produce a movie with such a powerful subject. Recently movies like Cash and Dhoom 2 were a huge hit and future action packed movies have good competition from these movies.
