Salman and Katrina keeping things under wraps

One of the most recent news that has been doing the Bollywood rounds is the news of marriage between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. Though the thing that’s strange is that Katrina vehemently denied the rumor of her marrying Salman and she insisted that this news was baseless and was devoid of any truth.
She made it a point to inform that almost all her days are spent shooting and she has a very busy calendar, especially in 2008 and marriage is nowhere on the cards. She said that this sort of news is just initiated by television channels to get their TRP higher. The popular notion among the gossipmongers is that Sallu and Kat are totally indulged in marriage discussions and they had decided to keep their marriage low profile to be solemnized in the presence of close friends and relatives.

Although the both of them have always been in the news, Salman especially for his recent mingling with Brazilian beauty Bruna, both of them have always tried to kept their private life private. Katrina for her part has always been beside her man and always supported him. This is actually a good proposition specially because once your relationship is in front of the media, they do not take much time to dissect it and put it to dust. So good job, Salman and Katrina!

And, we got to know this when designer Varun Bahl recently made her do the catwalk.

“I enjoy modelling. Don’t forget that I was a model before I joined movies,” she says. “I began my career as a model, and this will always be my first love.

Now, I am too busy to do shows because of my acting career. But, something as special as being a part of the fashion week or featuring in an advertisement can be accommodated,” she adds.

Kat is also deeply interested in knowing what’s being created by the designers lately. “I have seen the work of many designers, and some of them sure have their own style and a very cool way of handling their work.

I personally like the cuts given by Varun. No wonder he was invited to showcase at Milan,” Katrina says.

Katrina was recently harassed by a 25-year-old, who constantly called her up and abused her boyfriend Salman Khan. “Oh, that has been taken care of. It was in the past, what is the point of talking about it now?”

Talk about the short skirt controversy which happened while shooting for Namastey London, at the Ajmer Sharif, and she says “I have grown up after that. There is this sense of responsibility now.

I want to do better than what I have already done. In fact, people have noticed the change as well. And, a change for good is always welcome. It is quite motivating,” says Katrina.

The script of Namastey London, a film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, has made it to the Oscars library.

And basking in this glory is director Vipul Shah.

When Vipul was asked about the achievement, he said, "It’s a great feeling. It’s amazing how one incident in Akshay’s life gave birth to a story idea which was then made into a film, and now finds itself in the most reputed library. I think life’s come a full circle."
