Hindi movie review : U ME AUR HUM
The year 2008 seems to be an infectious year for bollywood as many directors are making their debut on subjects of physical ailments which in a way explores the effect on human relations suffered in these complexities.
Ajay Devgan chose his subject on “Alzheimers- a psychiatric disease of forgetting things about oneself and the surroundings. But he balanced his story perfectly by portraying the real love story of Kajol and Ajay Devgan on screen as Ajay and Piya. Their moments of separation forced by Alzheimers actually reconnected them once again and rekindled their love, even though Kajol could not recollect her life with Ajay sometimes. This film explicitly portrays the aspect of romance, marriage and motherhood and above all love –at first sight that made Piya realize the essence of Ajays love, which cost him 24 drinks to say “I love you Piya”.
This film has everything from a boring 1st half to great flirtatious dialogues to techniques on “how to patao a girl” in a less span of time and finally how to handle and balance relationships when things get miserably wrong. But the emotional scenes, dialogues and histrionical performances by the stars caught the speed of the film and saved it from getting an average rating.
A must watch for all the guys who are in love in order to learn how to care for and love your “love”.
