Khuda Ke Liye

Khuda ke liye, the first Pakistani film to be released in India made a grand debut in the Indian theaters. People not only liked it but also loved it. This is a film which says “all terrorists are muslims but all muslims are not terrorists”. Powerful dialogues, extra- ordinary performances accelerate the narrative of the film.
A film about two musician brothers Mansoor (Shan) and Sarmad (Fawad Khan) from Pakistan who are in the peak of their careers but the younger brother gets misled by the head of a religious extremist group and thus his life takes a turn and gets engaged in certain heinous activities in the name of Islam. The story parallely unfolds the life of another protagonist Mary (Iman Ali) who is in love with a British guy but falls into her father’s trap & gets married betrayingly.

The film is again about Mansoor who migrates to us for his passion for music.but destiny awaits something else for him .he gets accused of being a terrorist in the 9/11 attacks as he belongs to a muslim origin and there the trouble begins.
the film not only draws a gap between the muslims and the western world but also internally amongst the muslim community amidst the liberals and the extremists.the director has beautifully revealed the plight of muslims faced during hours of crisis through his frames.
It can’t be given a miss.
