Amitabh Bachchan in Bhootnath

Amitabh Bachchan is back again to indulge in some fun and frolic and to connect himself up with his little fans. After wooing his lady-love in two adult romances “Nishabd and “Cheeni Kum”, Amitabh is ready to bring some amusement on screen for his child fans through the forth coming films “Bhootnath” and “Alladdin”. In Vivek Sharma's 'Bhootnath', Big B will play a friendly ghost and in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Alladdin', he's the genie. Both are a lot different from films done by Big B. Though he has acted with a child as his co-star years ago in “Do Anjaane” and more recently in “Black” and “Ek Ajnabee”, these films were for mature, grownup audiences as both the films dealt with some grave issues. But “Bhootnath” and “Alladin” are completely different. These films are dealing with some supernatural characters. Both, the ghost in “Bhootnath” and the genie in “Alladdin” enacted by Big B are the roles that relate mostly to the children. The plot is also based on otherworldly activities, not in a horrifying but in a merry-making way, dedicated to the little audiences only. And in this era of sequels, even before the release of “Bhootnath”, producer Ravi Chopra and debutante director Vivek Sharma have already decided to mke the sequel to this film. Over that, the makers are recording an additional song, to be rendered by Big B, which will be used for the promotions of the film, which is on the lines of ‘Mere Paas Aao Mere Dosto Ek Kissa Suno’ from Mr. Natwarlal.
