Robert Nylund steps back from directing Delhi Belly

After ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which was both directed and produced Aamir Khan, Aamir is all set to produce for the film ‘Delhi Belly’. This movie which was supposed to direct by the famous Swedish director Robert Nylund has stepped back from directing. Since the Swedish director has refused to direct the movie, Aamir has approached ad film maker Abhinay Deo. This well famous ad film maker has directed the high-budget Pepsi advertisement which featured Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Abhinay has also directed the commercial of ‘Cinthol’ which had Hrithik Roshan.

The film ‘Delhi Belly’ will possibly made in English. Aamir was so much impressed by Abhinay’s work in the commercials that he instantly hired him when the film was director less, after Robert left it. This replacement gave Abhinay a bright bustling break into directing films. Abhinay Deo is the youngest son of character actors Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo. His elder brother Ajinkya Deo is a recognized Marathi and Hindi actor. The film ‘Delhi Belly’ will be a naughty and sexy comedy and it will unlike other films where Aamir acts. He is likely to play a part in this movie. Abhinay is being asked to direct the film on the lines of Guy Ritchie’s ‘Snatch’. Aamir Khan has earlier directed movies like ‘Lagaan’ which was a hug hit and was India’s official entry for Academy Award in the year 2001. Aamir’s other movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which was highly appreciated by both critics and audiences.
